Bye Bye Venice

October 10, 2011 by klwheeler

If I wrote poetry I would try my hand at Venice… A huge part of the enchantment here is … no cars.  The tranquility and quiet when our pace is slowed.  The watery element, the beauty of the architecture, the touches of contact with Asia.  Venice was also an early example of government for and by the people.  Yes it was aristocratic and exclusive, but it was not a monarchy nor was it a theocratic state.

There are hordes and hordes of people like ants crawling … enough has been said about this.  More soon.  I have fallen terribly behind with this blog!!!
